    Everyone gets angry. Many things may make you angry. Maybe your teacher gave you too much homework. Or maybe a friend borrowed your favorite video game and then broke it. You may get angry when something doesn't go your way. Maybe you get mad at yourself when your team loses an important game. Or maybe you become a road anger (路怒族) when a driver accidentally cuts in front of you. That makes you angry.

    You need to know what to do with your anger. Here are some things you can do when you feel angry:

    Talk to a friend you can trust.

    Count to 10.

    Greet or give a hug.

    Take some exercise.

    Draw a picture of your anger.

    Play a video game.

    Run around the outside of the house five times as fast as you can.

    Sing along with the CD player.

    Pull weeds in the garden.

    Think good thoughts (maybe about a fun vacation or your favorite sport).

    Take a bike ride, go skating, play basketball-do something active!

    Never getting angry is impossible. But when you're angry, you can do something and it can make things better or worse. Don't let anger be the boss of you. Take charge of it.

    Many years ago, there was a king who was both greedy and foolish. His name was Midas, and one day he was visited by one of the gods.

    He made the god welcome, and the god said, "Midas, you have been kind to me. Whatever you wish for will come true, but you have only got one wish."

Immediately, and without thinking about it, Midas said, "I wish that everything I touch will turn into gold."

    "If that is what you really want", the god said, "your wish will be granted(被允许的)." Then he disappeared.

    At first, Midas thought the god had cheated him. Then he touched the arm of a chair. Immediately it turned into gold.

    "I'm going to be the richest man in the world." He cried, and ran about touching everything he could find.

    It was not long before the whole palace was made from gold.

    Then it was dinner time. Midas sat at his golden table and picked up his golden knife and fork. He lifted a piece of meat from his plate to his mouth and...

As soon as the meat touched his mouth, it turned into gold. Everything Midas tried to eat and drink turned into gold.

    The next day was the same, and the next and the next.

    Midas became richer and richer and thinner and thinner. Soon it was clear he was going to die.

    Then the god, who had known what would happen, came back the palace.

    "Do you want me to take the gift back?" he asked the starving (饥饿的) king.

Midas nodded his head-he was too weak to open his mouth.

    The god took away Midas magic power and he was able to eat again.

    Do you know Ma Yun? He is Founder and Chairman of Alibaba (阿里巴巴) Group. Ma was born in Hangzhou. At an early age, Ma wanted to learn English, so he rode his bike each morning in order to go to a nearby hotel and talk with foreigners. He would guide them around the city for free in order to practice and improve his English.

    Ma is never afraid of failure in his youth. Although he failed the university entrance exam three times, Ma entered Hangzhou Normal University(师范大学). He majored in(主修) English and graduated(毕业) in 1988. While at school, Ma was elected student chairman. He later became a lecturer (讲师) in English and International Trade at the Hangzhou Dianzi University.

    In the early of 1995, he went to the United States, and with the help of his friend he got introduced to the Internet. In April 1995, Ma, his wife and a friend collected twenty thousand dollars and started an Internet company. He named their company "China Yellow Pages" Within(在…之内) three years，his company had made 5,000,000 Chinese Yuan. In 1999, he decided to give up his job in the US, and went back to Hangzhou with his team in order to found(建立.)Alibaba. Alibaba is a China-based business-to-business marketplace site on the Internet which serves more than 79 million members from more than 240 countries and areas. In September 2014 Alibaba became one of the most valuable companies in the world. Ma Yun becomes one of the most successful businessmen in China.

    At East China University of Science and Technology, students will get a coupon(优惠券) if they eat up their food. Students can collect coupons and exchange them for small gifts, such as books, magazines, mobile phone covers and hand warmers.

    "It's been such a surprise," said liang Zhaoyun, 19, a student at the university in Shanghai. " It has given us one more motivation to finish our food."

    The measure is part of a national "eat-up" campaign(行动) which is organized by students to deal with food waste on campuses(校园).

    Why only on campuses? You might ask. Because according to report by Xinhua News Agency, students waste twice as much food as the national average(平均数).

    The campaign on campus food waste is receiving attention across the country.

"The aim of the campaign is not only to encourage students to finish their food. We hope it can also encourage students to choose more environment-friendly and healthy lifestyle," said Tao Siliang, secretary of the Youth League Committee at Shanghai University.

    But some school food is poorly prepared, so students do not like to finish it all. Some schools have taken notice of this and they are taking measures to improve it.

"I'm glad that we've reduced food waste since the 'eat-up campaign' began. But if we call on students to waste less food, we should also improve the service and food standard(标准)on campuses," said Tao.

    Do you ever have a dream of making your home a happier place to be? Maybe there are some points you will follow:

    Sometimes you don't think your parents are fair to you. When you want to dress in a modern way, your mom doesn't like you wearing a mini-skirt. You should tell your parents your needs, and find out what their needs are. Then, you can think of a way to make all of you happy. He gives you some ideas:

    ①Make time to talk. You could talk about your school life and your plans for the future.

    ②Keep a diary. This is to help you understand more about yourself and your feelings.

    ③Show your parents you are growing up. Wash your own clothes and help around the house. Your parents will feel that you are no longer a small child.

    If you follow these steps, slowly, you will be able to break down the walls between your parents and yourself.

    Canada is a big country with a large area.  It lies in North America with ocean around it in three directions except in the south where the United States is. The Great Lakes are between Canada and the United States.  Canadians care about the environment very much. The government and the people in Canada try their best to protect the environment. So in Canada, the air is fresh. the water is clean and the sky is blue.  They like living there for some time to relax themselves.

The climate in Canada is different from area to area. It is wet in the west and east, but cold in the north and south. Canada is rich in natural resources, such as forests, fresh water, coal (煤), oil (油), and so on. Farmland mainly lies in the south where farmers grow lots of corn(谷物)and wheat.  The farmers work hard so that the people in Canada can get enough good food for their daily life. The living environment in Canada is the best in the world.  

    There were two high mountains between Jizhou in the south and Heyang in the north. One was called Taihang Mountain and the other Wangwu Mountain. Both of the mountains were very high. Just to the north of the mountains lived an old man called Yu Gong who was nearly 90 years old. With the two high mountains just in front of his house, his family and he had to walk a long way around the mountains whenever they had something to do on the other side of the mountains. One day, Yu Gong called all his family together to talk about how to move the two mountains to other places. His wife said, "An old man like you cannot even move a small hill, not to mention (提) the two high mountains. Even if you can, where can you throw so much earth and stone? ""The Bohai Sea is big enough to contain(容纳) all the earth and stone, "Yu Gong said.

    So it was decided. His children started to dig the mountains, led by the old man Yu Gong. A man named Zhi Sou saw them working and tried to stop them, saying, "You are so silly! You re so old and weak that you can't even take away the grass and trees. How can you move the high mountains?" "You're wrong." Yu Gong said with a sigh(叹气). "Look, my sons can continue my work after my death. When my sons die, my grandchildren will continue. So generations after generations there's no end. But the mountains can't grow higher. Do you still say I can't move them away?" Later the Heaven God learning of Yu Gong's story, was greatly moved. He then ordered another god to come down and take the two high mountains away.

The story tells us that so long as one is determined(有决心的) and sticks to(坚持) it long enough, anything can be done, no matter how difficult it is.
