    Hello. My name is Brody and I like dinosaurs. Last Sunday, I went to the dinosaur museum. It's a very interesting place. I spent all day there.

    There is a big room in the museum called the Dinosaur Hall. You can see a lot of dinosaur skeletons there.

    My favourite skeleton was the Tyrannosaurus rex (雷克斯霸王龙). These big animals lived about 66 million years ago. They were 12 metres long and 5 metres tall. They ate meat and they had very sharp teeth. They had strong legs and they could run very fast.

    I loved learning about all the different dinosaurs. Some scientists (科学家) work at the museum. They study the old dinosaur bones. I watched them working. One day I want to be a scientist and study dinosaurs.

    Cape Town is a city in South Africa. It's a beautiful city beside the ocean (海洋). There are lots of things for tourists to see and do in Cape Town.

    You can swim at the white, sandy beaches. You can visit the Botanical Gardens and see lots of interesting African plants there. In the city centre there are lots of restaurants, cafes and stores.

    Next to the city there is a big mountain with a flat top. It is called Table Mountain and it is 1,067 metres high. You can climb the mountain or ride to the top of Table Mountain in a cable car (缆车). At the top, there is a wonderful view.

    Cape Town is a great city to visit.

    Most English people have three names: a first name, a middle name and the family name. The family name comes last. For example, my full name is Jim Allan Green. Green is my family name. My parents gave me both of my other names.

    People don't use their middle names very much. So "John Henry Brown" is usually called "John Brown". People never use Mr, Mrs or Miss before their first names. So you can say John Brown, or Mr Brown; but you should never say Mr John. They use Mr, Mrs or Miss with the family name but never with the first name.

    Sometimes people ask me about my name. "When you were born, why did your parents call you Jim?" they ask. "Why did they choose that name?" The answer is my parents didn't call me Jim. They called me James. James was the name of my grandfather. In England, people usually call me Jim for short. That's because it is shorter and easier than James.
