    Stephen Hillenburg, the USD animator who created the famous cartoon SpongeBob SquarePants(海绵宝宝), passed away on November 26. 2018 at the age of 57.

    Growing up in Maine island(美国缅因州), Hillenburg was interested in the ocean as a child and liked art very much. He studied Natural Resource Planning at college and oceans attracted him a lot. "If I have a  to do a show on animals, I would do a show about undersea animals-all the ones that I'm interested in and  , "Hillenburg said to a reporter from Entertainment Weekly in 2010. "I like the sponge because it's one of the most  creatures. "

    Although Hilenburg wasn't sure whether people would like a cartoon about the ocean, he continued working on it. "At first, we just try to make ourselves laugh, then we ask if children will like it. " He didn't  the innocent(天真无邪的)character would be such a success. It has won several Emmy Awards(文美奖)and has been shown in  60 languages.

    SpongeBob is popular because not only children but also adults like it. Children like SpongeBob's innocence. Teenagers and young adults love the show's  , and others enjoy it for meme(表情包)culture.

    Above all, it is the character's innocence that attracts people.

    Jackson was excited！He and his family were on their way to the White House, Jackson could not wait to see the President's official residence. He had been reading all about it so that he might recognize some things he saw. After standing in a long line, Jackson, his sister, and their parents were allowed to enter the 132-room, six-floor mansion. They entered through the East Wing. Jackson knew that he and his family were only four of the 6, 000 people who would visit this incredible house that day.

    The first room they were shown by the guide was the State Dining Room. Jackson learned that 140 dinner guests could cat there at one time. "What a great place for a huge birthday party！"Jackson thought.

    The Red Room was shown next. Red stain(绸缎)adorned its walls. The third room the visitors entered was the Blue Room. This room serves as the main reception room for the President's guests. Jackson wondered when the President would be out to greet him. After all, he was a guest, too.

    The Green Room was the fourth room on the tour. Jackson and his family were not surprised to find green silk covering the walls in this room.

    The last room was the biggest room in the White House. It is called the East Room. Here guests are entertained after formal dinners. Jackson wondered if they could vary the entertainment by rolling in huge movie screens so they could all watch the latest movies. He wondered if kids were invited sometimes; maybe they had huge, bouncy boxes you could jump in. Perhaps they even set up huge ramps(坡道)so all the kids could practice skateboarding and roller blading. How fun！

    Jackson loved his tour of the White House. He was just sorry that he did not get to see the living parts of the President's family. He wondered if the President had to make his bed every day！

    London has a population of about 7, 000, 000. It lies on the River Thames, where the Romans landed nearly 2, 000 years ago. From about 1800 until World War Ⅱ, London was 1 city in the world, but now there are many cities which are much bigger.

    London is famous for many things. Tourists come from all over the world to visit its historic buildings, such as Buckingham Palace, where the Queen lives, and the Houses of Parliament(国会大厦), where you can see and 2 the famous clock, Big Ben. They also come to visit its theatres, its museums, and its many 3 , such as Harrods, where you can buy anything. And of course they want to ride on the London Eye next to the river.

    Like many big cities, London has 4 with traffic and pollution. Over 1, 000, 000 people a day use the London Underground. People who want to 5 into the city centre pay Congestion Charge, which cots 8 pounds a day, but there are still too many cars on the streets. The air isn't clean but it is cleaner than it was 100 years ago.

    For me, the 6 thing about London is the park. There are five in the city centre. But my children's favourite place is Hamleys, which is the biggest toy shop in the world.

    The dream is the same for everyone; actors, dancers, singers, filmmakers. They go to Hollywood looking for money, s  , fame and power. And many come to Hollywood as young people, barely out of their teens. But Hollywood can be a d  place, and some of Hollywood's heroes even lose their lives because of it.

    But although they die young they are heroes forever. One such hero was James Dean. Dean once said "Dream as if you'll live forever; live as if you'll die t  ". Arriving in Hollywood as a young man, James Dean quickly became a star. In the film Rebel Without a Cause. Dean showed teenage angst at its best, and he captured the world with his casual style and rebellious(反抗的)attitude. It was an attitude that he held both on-screen and off, and teenagers everywhere found a hero they could both respect and admire. Soon, he was more p  than even his own screen idol, Marlon Brando, and he was nicknamed America's Rebel by Ronald Reagan.

    As a rebel(反叛者). Dean was afraid of a  . Before famous, he worked as a stuntman(特技演员)for a TV show. Dean loved his car, a silver Porsche 550 Spyder, and it was in this car that on September 30, 1955, Dean crashed and died from his injuries. He was just twenty-four years old. Even though his career in Hollywood was short, he only made three films, he made a lasting impression on everybody who w  him, and even on future generations. James Dean will be forever young.

    Do you want to live a happier, less stressful life? Try laughing for no reason at all. That's how thousands of people start their day at Laughter Clubs around the world and many doctors now think that having a good ax laugh might be one of the best ways to stay healthy.

    The first Laughter Club was started in Mumbai, India, in 1995 by Dr. Madan Kataria. "Young children laugh about 300 times a day. Adults laugh between 7 and 15 times a day, "says Dr. Kataria. "Everyone's naturally good at laughing-it's the universal language. We want people to feel happy with their lives. " There are now more than 500 Laughter Clubs in India and over 1, 303 worldwide.

    Many doctors in the West are also interested in the effects of laughter on our health. According to a 5-year study at the UCLA School of Medicine in(California, laughter reduces stress in the body, improves our defenses against illness by about 40% and is very good for the heart.

    So, what happens at a Laughter Club? I went along to my nearest club in south London to find out. I was quite nervous about it, to be honest-I wasn't keen on the idea of laughing with a group of strangers, and I was worried about looking stupid. First, our laughter teacher told us to clap our hands and say "ho ho ho, ha ha ha," while looking at each other. Apparently our bodies can't tell the difference between fake laughter and real laughter, so still produce the same healthy chemicals.

    Amazingly, it works. After ten minutes everybody in the room was laughing for real-and some people just couldn't stop！At the end of the class I was surprised by how relaxed and calm I felt. So if you're upset about something at work or just fed up with your daily routine, then start laughing. You might be very pleased with the results！
