    Hello. We are students from Thailand, and we want to save the elephants. The elephant is one of Thailand's symbols. Our first flag had a white elephant on it. This is a symbol of good luck.

    Elephants are smart animals. They can play soccer or music. They can also draw very well. People say that "an elephant never forgets". Elephants can walk for a long time and never gets lost. They can also remember places with food and water. This helps them to live. But elephants are in great danger. People cut down many trees so elephants are losing their homes. People also kill elephants for their ivory. Today there are only about 3,000 elephants (over 100, 000 before). We must save the trees and not buy things made of ivory. Remember that March 13th is Thai Elephant Day.

    The final exam comes with July. When exam ends, the summer vacation begins. Boys and girls have about two months to relax. The summer vacation is the best time of the year for most children. The weather is usually fine. They can swim, go to summer camp or visit other places with their parents.

    The best place for a summer vacation is the seaside (海边). Some children are lucky enough to live near the sea, but for the others, a week or two at one of the big seaside towns is something they will talk about for the whole of the following year.

    In England, most of the people can take their children to the seaside. If a factory worker or a bus driver, a street cleaner or a waiter wants to take his wife and children to Southend or Margate, Blackpool or Clacton, he is usually quite able to do so.

    Why do children like spending their summer vacation on beaches? It is because they like the sand, the sun, the cool wind and the sea water. There are lots of new things to see, nice things to eat and exciting things to do.

    July is coming. People all around the world are talking about their (vacation). Parents would like (help) their children relax. (luck), they have two months off.     Yesterday I went on a school trip. We visited the museum and it was really interesting. We got there so fast train. We saw some farms and villages along the way. At the museum, I learned a lot robots. I didn't know they could play chess with us. It was so cool! Then the guide us how to make a model robot. I took a lot of great , too. After that I went to the gift shop and some lovely gifts for my parents. They weren't expensive. All in all, it was an day.

    Tom comes from Australia. He studies in a middle school in Tianjin. He usually gets up at 7: 00 a. m. and then reads Chinese. He has breakfast at 7: 30 a. m. And then he goes to school by bike. He is never late for school. Classes begin at 8: 00 a. m. He has four classes in the morning and two in the afternoon. He has lunch at 12: 30 p. m. at home with his parents. They both work as reporters at a TV station. After school, sometimes he plays volleyball with his classmates, and sometimes he reads books in the school library. He goes back home at 4: 40 p. m. After supper, he always studies Chinese. He goes to bed at about 9: 10 p. m. He likes China and he thinks Chinese people are friendly and he believes he can make many friends here.
