     Mr. Green was unfriendly. Kids were afraid of going into his garden to pick an apple because he would run after them 1 with his gun (枪).

    Many studies show that people always feel better when they're with friends than when they're alone. So be sure to make some friends.

Staying healthy is important at any age and that doesn't change just because we have a few more white hairs.

    One day, I got off the train and was waiting for my ride .Suddenly I had an inspiration (灵感). I looked around and found a pen, but there was no paper. I sat down sadly for a few minutes. Then I looked around again. Finally, I found a dollar bill in my wallet. Although there was very little space to write on, I could write something.

    I took my pen and wrote something like this," This is a very special dollar. I give it to you with love. Do not keep it. Do not spend it. Pass it on. Give it to someone else with love, and watch it be passed on."

    I then decorated the bill with hearts and tried to fill it with as many good wishes as I could.

    There was a woman sitting near me. She was also waiting for a ride. She seemed a little bit worried. So I walked up to her and gave the bill to her

    The woman couldn't know what I was doing at first. And then she took a second look and read it. Suddenly she was not worried and she was happy. Also, she gave me a big huge and thanked me.

    I knew that if this was the result from just one person, then this wave of warmth would probably go on.

    My ride came, and we drove off. But I thought this was not the end of the story.

    Medical experts say most Americans do not get enough sleep. They say more Americans need to take a nap—that is to rest for a short period in the middle of the day. They give people advice to sleep lightly before continuing with other activities. The experts say naps might improve health by reducing pressure.

    Some European and Latin American companies have supported the idea of napping for many years. They ask people to leave work, go home and have a nap before returning. In the United States, some companies let workers rest simply in their offices. They believe this can help workers make fewer mistakes and also increase the amount of work that a person can do.

    Sleep experts say it is likely that people make more mistakes at work than at other times. They say people should not carry out important tasks when they feel sleepy. And they say the best thing to do is to take a nap.  About twenty minutes of rest is all you need. Experts say this provides extra energy and can increase your effects until the end of the day. But experts said that a nap should last no more than twenty to thirty minutes. A longer nap will put the body into deep sleep and waking up will be difficult.

    I work in a cleaning company. Usually people call us, and we  house cleaning service.

    One day, I got a call from a man named David." I want to help an old man. He just had surgery (手术) and is still .Can I pay for it without letting him know?" he asked. David was a very kind man. He called us because he was worried about his , Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith just came back from the hospital. His house was in a , but he couldn't do any housework. Even  the floor was difficult for him. He didn't tell his children because he didn't want them to  their time taking care of him. David wanted to help Mr. Smith without bringing him any .And then we asked David what would happen if Mr. Smith would refuse to let us come into his house." I have to at least try, and ， I really want to help him，" he said.

    Luckily, Mr. Smith let us in and our workers did a good job. we promised David not to tell his name, we didn't tell too much to Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith was touched by the gift from someone he didn't know. Sometimes we don't expecton others, because we are afraid of letting them get into trouble. However, there is always someone who cares for you and tries his best to help you.

    It was a playground. Eight (child) were standing on the starting line to take part in a running race.

    Ready? Bang!

    All eight girls started running  they heard the sound. After a minute, one of the small girls fell down. Because  the pain(痛), she started to cry. When the other seven girls heard, they stopped running  (quick).Then they stood for a while to see what happened. They decided  (run) back to the place where the girl fell down. One of them kissed the girl and told  to be strong. They said, “We will be together  you.” Then, seven girls helped the fallen girl stand up and looked after her carefully. The eight girls joined hands together, walked together and  (get) to the winning line. People were moved. Clapping(掌声) of  (hundred) of people came out. Though they lost the race, they were all  best runners!

    All these special girls are strong and brave. What did they teach this world? Teamwork! Friendship! Love!
