A Young Apple Tree

She has a grandmother and a 92-year-old great-grandmother. Her grandmother is ill(生病的), so she can't look after herself. Anna cooks for them, and helps them with housework every day.     A neighbor(邻居), Lin Feng, with a farm usually gives Anna vegetables, and he helps her carry them to her home. Sometimes he even buys clothes for her and her family. Also Lin Feng teaches her to read and write.

    Little Anna says she does the housework happily because she wants to. She always says "I should be ready to help my family and other people because we should love everyone all over the world."

    In some science fiction(科幻)movies, people in the future have their own robots.These robots are like humans (人类). They help with the housework and do difficult and heavy jobs.

    So me scientists think that there will be such robots in the future. But they say it may take hundreds of years. Scientists are now trying to make robots look like people and do the same things as us. Japanese companies have already made robots walk and dance.

    James White thinks that it will be difficult for a robot to do the same things as a person. But other scientists don't think so. They think robots can do the same thing as us in 50 years.

    Robot scientists are trying to make robots look like not only people but also animals. For example, there are already robots working in factories. They do easy jobs over and over again. People would not like to do such jobs and would get bored(感到无聊的). But robots will never get bored and tired.

    In the future, there will be more robots everywhere, and humans will have less work to do. New robots will have many different shapes(形状). Some will look like humans, some will look like dogs, some will look like hands, and others may look like snakes. After an earthquake(地震), a snake robot could help look for people under buildings. We never know what will happen in the future!

    Flying kites is my favourite game. It begins in China. It has a history of two (千) years, and it's very popular now. Children and their parents like to fly kites in April or (五月) when it's sunny and there is much (风). At this time of the year, lots of people go out and carry many kinds of (美丽的) kites to the park. They are in different colours, shapes, and (尺寸). Some look like planes, some look like flowers, and some look like fish.

    At weekends, I like (骑) bikes to the park near my house, and then fly a kite there. When the kite is high in the (空中), I'll be very glad. The sight in the park is nice with kinds of kites. So many kites, trees and flowers make the park (就，正) like fairyland (仙境). I can fly kites very well, and I am even (能够的) to make many strange kinds of kites.

    I feel relaxed when I see the kites flying, so I enjoy (我自己) a lot when I stay in the park and fly kites.
